Special Issue 13
Call for Papers
Special Issue of the International Journal
of Engineering, Project, and Production Management (EPPM-Journal)
Title: Intelligence Framework and Key Technologies for 6G Intelligent
and Advanced Networks
Lead Guest Editor: Prof. Dr. Peerapong Uthansakul, Thailand, (uthansakul@suranaree-ut.com)
Aims and Scope
This thematic issue of the International
Journal of Engineering, Project, and Production Management (EPPM-Journal)
aims to explore the transformative role of 6G Intelligent and Advanced
Networks in economics, industrial systems, business management,
production optimization, and sustainable organizational development.
In the future, 6G will usher in the era of
intelligent interconnection and gradually realize the seamless
connection and integration of the digital world and the physical world.
With the completion of the ITU-R IMT-2030 framework recommendation, ISAC
has become one of the key scenarios of 6G.
By utilizing the signal propagation
characteristics of wireless communication systems, ISAC can realize two
independent functions, wireless communication and wireless sensing, in
the same system and achieve mutual benefit. As a new information
communication technology based on software and hardware resource sharing
and information sharing, ISAC can effectively improve the system's
spectrum efficiency, hardware efficiency, and information processing
efficiency while achieving the coordination of sensing and communication
functions. Therefore, its emergence quickly attracted the keen attention
of researchers.
However, the establishment of ISAC theory
is still challenging, and more efforts are still needed in many aspects,
such as the optimal performance boundaries and trade-offs of perception
and communication, ISAC signal processing and waveform design schemes,
new transceiver designs, and exploring the synergy between ISAC and
other emerging technologies (such as reconfigurable intelligent
surfaces, millimeter wave/terahertz, new multiple access, backscatter
communication, non-terrestrial networks, etc.).
The increasing integration of AI
technologies, machine learning, big data analytics, intelligent
automation, and digital transformation is reshaping economic
decision-making, industrial operations, supply chains, financial
systems, and strategic management practices worldwide. The issue seeks
to bring together researchers, academicians, policymakers, and industry
practitioners to discuss innovative AI-driven approaches for improving
productivity, operational efficiency, economic forecasting, risk
management, sustainability, and industrial competitiveness in the era of
Industry 4.0 and digital economies.
This special issue focuses on the
innovative ideas and strategies that addresses research problem and as a
means to bring about new advancement in 6G communication networks. The
purpose of this special issue is to bring together researchers,
academicians and individuals to exchange novel ideas and latest findings
and to promote the advancement of 6G toward modern wireless
communications.
