Call for Papers
Special Issue of the International Journal
of Engineering, Project, and Production Management (EPPM-Journal)
Title: Towards Sustainable, Resilient and AI-Enhanced Manufacturing
Systems in the Era of Industry 4.0 and 5.0
Lead Guest Editor: Ph.D. Eng. Krzysztof Ejsmont (krzysztof.ejsmont@pw.edu.pl)
Aims and Scope
This special issue of the Journal of
Engineering, Project, and Production Management (EPPM-Journal) explores
the convergence of sustainability, resilience, and artificial
intelligence (AI) in modern manufacturing systems. As industries move
toward Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 paradigms, new technological
opportunities arise to support environmental goals, human-centric
production, and agile system reconfiguration.
The issue welcomes theoretical
contributions, case studies, applied research, and methodological
innovations focused on developing sustainable and intelligent production
systems. It also encourages interdisciplinary work that connects
engineering, data science, operations management, and sustainability
science.
